Reassuring and supporting communities Great Lever, Westhoughton, Deane & Willows, Brownlow Fold, Breightmet North and Tonge Moor safer neighbourhoods are ASB priority neighbourhoods Review and agree mechanism for responding to “cleaner, greener” issues and improving satisfaction. Through Tactical PBG and Safer Neighbourhood profiles tackle repeat locations Tackle criminal damage especially in priority neighbourhoods Produce detailed Safer Neighbourhood profiles prioritising neighbourhoods experiencing the greatest volume of ASB (Great Lever, Westhoughton, Deane & Willows, Brownlow Fold, Breightmet North and Tonge Moor) Profiles to highlight repeat locations Review existing opportunities to gather community intelligence through consultation and other engagement processes. Through Tactical PBG and Safer Neighbourhood profiles tackle repeat locations Tackle criminal damage especially in priority neighbourhoods
Young People Maximise the preventative opportunities afforded by Bolton’s Information Sharing and Assessment System (ISA) to universal, targeted and specialist services dealing with children and young people Embed an evidence-based, neighbourhood level theme group approach to all issues affecting young people Develop a business case that explores the link between adult PPOs and the impact of their offending on their children Develop a business case that explores the possible introduction of a restorative justice option / recorded ‘outcome’ vis-à-vis the requirement to close the justice gap
Drugs and Alcohol Conduct a treatment review Develop and deliver Alcohol strategy as participant in LAA cross cutting theme Develop and deliver Street level Up Approach to tackling drug markets
